Engineering Structure

HDP Aluminum Composite Panel consists of:

Two aluminum alloy sheets

High Weather-resistant Polyester (HDP) coating

LDPE or fire-retardant mineral core

The HDP coating system improves long-term outdoor durability while preserving the fabrication flexibility and lightweight characteristics of Aluminum Composite Panels.

Q1: What is the difference between HDP ACP and PE ACP?

HDP coating offers significantly better resistance to ultraviolet radiation, weathering and color fading than conventional PE coating, making it more suitable for long-term outdoor applications.

Q2: Is HDP ACP suitable for coastal environments?

HDP performs well in most urban and inland environments. For projects located within approximately 3 km of the coastline or in highly corrosive industrial areas, FEVE or PVDF coating systems are generally recommended for maximum durability.

Q3: Can HDP ACP be fabricated using standard ACP equipment?

Yes. HDP ACP maintains the same fabrication characteristics as conventional Aluminum Composite Panels and supports routing, grooving, folding, bending and curtain wall installation.

Warranty shall comply with the standard of ACP with the corresponding coating system.

Double-coat PE: 3-year warranty

Green, yellow, orange and grey color series are excluded.

 

HDP (High Weather-resistant Polyester) Coating

Green, yellow, orange and grey color series: 3-year warranty

Other color series: 5-year warranty

 

FEVE (Fluorocarbon) Coating

Tinted light colors (pink, light blue, light green, light yellow, light grey, etc.): 6-year warranty

Other color series: 10-year warranty

 

PVDF (Fluorocarbon) Coating

Tinted light colors (pink, light blue, light green, light yellow, light grey, etc.): 10-year warranty
